The GoblinX is a bootable live CD distribution based on Slackware Linux. The primary goal for GoblinX is to create a more pleasant and functional desktop, standardizing all icons and themes to make it easy for novice users to learn about available applications.

The GoblinX Premium is the special edition created to be the main operating system of the goblin fan, our O.S. Replacement. This edition is indicated to the goblin around the world who wishes to use it as his installed system because it contains a very large source of applications and features, like a devel center where you can find all programs needed to compile applications and drivers.

The Premium Edition contains languages, libraries, files and applications used to compile other programs from source code, contains more applications to everyday use and games for your entertainment, also contains more drivers and packages needed to improve hardware support, like Sane, Ndiswrapper, Slmodem and more.

The Premium combines the estability of Slackware with a great power of costumization where you can control everything about the system in a very simple and fast way. The main resources of the livecd are still preserved and you can count on more because it has two times the original size of GoblinX.

The GoblinX Premium contains about one and half gigabyte(1,5GB) compressed modules by using Squashfs that follow different categories of applications. Each module includes several programs.

Beyond original modules also presented on master edition, it includes some special modules like a_Media.mo which has several multimedia applications, a_Network.mo full of internet/network programs and a_Games which includes some games for your entertainment.
