Product Details
Les Paul is one of the
most important figures in the development of modern electric musical
instruments and modern recording techniques. He pioneered the
development of the solid-body electric guitar, multitrack recording,
and various reverberation and echo effects which are used in nearly
every modern recording.
Les Paul had hosted a fifteen-minute radio program,
The Les Paul Show, on NBC in 1950,
featuring his trio (himself, Mary Ford, and rhythm player Eddie
Stapleton). These MP3 are from recordings of
The Les Paul Show this radio show.
A documentary, titled
Chasing Sound:
Les Paul at 90, was broadcast on PBS on July 11, 2007 as part of
its American Masters series.
