G:Noblin is a GoblinX Gnome and GTK/GTK2 based distribution. This edition is ideal for fans of the Gnome desktop environment. This distribution fulfills a long standing desire of GoblinX users to bring back the Gnome desktop to a Slackware based distribution.

The GNOME desktop environment is an intuitive and attractive desktop enviroment. GNOME understands that usability is about creating software that is easy for everyone to use, not about piling on features. GNOME’s community of professional and volunteer usability experts have created Free Software’s first and only Human Interface Guidelines, and all core GNOME software is adopting these principles.

G:Noblin has two desktops on one CD. The first is the default Gnome desktop and the second is a special prepared interface for Netbooks, using the ideas similar to Ubuntu Mobile.

G:Noblin is fully compatible with every other GoblinX Project distribution and uses the same software repository. You will be able to install more than a thousand applications and libraries even by starting with this small distribution.

G:Noblin is a livecd based on Slackware created by the GoblinX Project.
