Quick Ship (Free Disc Service)
This Free Disc Offering is an attempt to help support the Open Source community by offering free live installation CDs in a similar way that Ship it does for Ubuntu, only in a more timely manner, thus we are calling this service "Quick Ship". Our goal is to ship all requests within two business days.
How it works:
We (On-Disk.com) will provide free discs to the community, but those obtaining the discs will need to pay our normal shipping costs. We are expecting this minimal cost of acquisition to help prevent wasted discs that often occur in other free disc services, while at the same time allowing us to ship world wide. In compliance with fraud prevention standards, it was necessary to require shipping to be selected directly from the Quick Ship product pages. This allows the Online payment processors (Credit Card, PayPal Etc.) to process the order. If you are ordering only a Quick Ship product you will notice a $0.00 additional shipping charge when checking out, with Priority and Express Mail options also available.
All Quick Ship full color printed discs will ship in padded mailers to ensure they will be adequately protected, as opposed to shrink-wrapped stiff folded paper sleeves, or cardboard disc mailers which have a much lower survival rate.
Because we are a burn-on-demand service we will never run out of discs, or have outdated discs going to waste when new releases come out.
Combined Quick Ship and regular product ordering:
To receive faster service and reduce waste, feel free to add Quick Ship discs to your regular order.
While there is the possibility that we may split up your Quick Ship orders placed along with regular catalog items, if we can get everything into one envelope we will. Especially if you have chosen a Priority or Express mail shipping upgrade. If the package is large enough to hold all ordered items we'll do our best to get them all in.
Restrictions: The maximum number of identical free Quick Ship discs that can be ordered at one time is two. Again, waste prevention is a major goal with the Quick Ship program. Hopefully this will help discourage people from ordering more discs than they actually need.
Bugs: If you have any problems at all proceeding through the request/checkout process please let us know. If all else fails we are capable of processing an order manually using a credit card terminal, or receiving direct PayPal payments at On-Disk@On-Disk.com.

Domestic United States - Select this option for Quick Ship discs in the United States, or U.S. Territories.
