Installing Fonts in Linux

This is a guide to installing Larabie and Typodermic font Collections on Linux. Note: This should also work for any other fonts, or font collections, designed to be used on Microsoft Windows.

1. Create a directory (folder) in your home directory named ".fonts" (without the quotes). If you already have a .fonts directory just use the one that is already there.
2. Copy the contents of the CD (or any folder containing fonts) into the .fonts directory.
3. The fonts should now be available. Before the new fonts can be used by programs that are already open, you will need to close and re-open them.

NOTE: This has been tested and found to work on Wolvix, PCLinuxOS, Ubuntu (including Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Edubuntu, and Ubuntu Studio). Theoretically this approach should work with any modern Linux distribution, however we can not guarantee it. If you have problems installing fonts on other distributions you may need to consult the user manual or ask it's developers.

If you try it on others and it works please let us know and we will add it to the list.
