Website updates
We have changed the layout of the main page and added a lot of information to help make selections a little easier for those who are newer to the Open Source community.
We have also updated our content management system to better support Internet Explorer 7 and Safari browsers.
New Website for FOSS Groups
We have launched http://groups.on-disk.com as a site to help those who promote free and open source software. Among the assistance we can give are 100,000 free banned advertisements at On-Disk.com, free and low cost media for events, along with a SWAG exchange to make it easier to get SWAG for events.
New Products
honestly the number of updates since the last newsletter are too many to send in an email. The last month has been the the busiest ever. It would take a week to compile all the details, so instead I'll just append a few of the update notifications that were sent out:
You will notice a new format with these newly listed items where all available media types are on one page. As the new releases hit, hopefully everything will be a little easier to find.

The 64 bit SuperGamer Desktop based on Vector Linux with many improvements. Although known for gaming excellence, this 64 bit desktop edition is on par with the best
Berry Linux is a bootable CD that features, automatic hardware detect-ion. It supports many graphics cards, sound cards, SCSI, USB, and oth-er peripherals. Berry Linux can be used as a Linux demo, Educational CD, or a rescue system. You can try it out without touching your hard drive. If you like it, there is an option to install Berry Linux on your hard disk. (Needs 1.7GB) Berry Linux 0.96 is based on Red Hat Fedora 10.
On-Disk.com took Berry Linux .96 for a ride and were very impressed. Among the reasons we liked it so much are:
(1.) The desktop is one of the nicest KDE4 implementations we have encountered. We found it very clean and surprisingly fast compared to most we have tried up to this point.
(2.) OpenOffice 3 is pre-installed, along with TextMaker (Word) and PlanMaker(Excell) from SoftMaker Office.
(3.) If you like an expanded repatuar also included are Wine (to run software created for Microsoft Windows), and ZSNES, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System emulator. Pacman is in the games menu which open in ZSNES, and worked quite well. If that weren't enough, PCXF-df, a nice Playstation emulator is also included.
(4.) Includes KPPP and QPmon for dialup connections. More and more distributions are dropping dialup support, however there are still a great many who live or vacation in more remote areas where using a dialup connection is the only option.
We now have 598 Live Media variations on USB Flash Drives, Secure Digital (SD) Cards, and Compact Flash (CF) Cards. Today we add two more products available on 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB Live media drives:
